About

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany with expertise in Plant Biotechnology and Microbial Biotechnology, with research focused on bioremediation and phytoremediation using plants and microorganisms for environmental cleanup and pollution management. My work also extends to sustainable cultivation and conservation strategies for rare and endangered medicinal plants, promoting biodiversity and eco-friendly biotechnological applications for long-term environmental and health benefits.

I have taught undergraduate and postgraduate students in subjects including Plant Systematics, Recombinant DNA Technology and Proteomics and Basic Lab and Field Skills in Plant Biology. I am dedicated to pursuing academic excellence through cutting-edge research, impactful teaching, meaningful student mentorship, and inspiring scientific curiosity in learners.
